Phillip Securities to Update Terms for Singapore Depository Receipts

Aug 12

Phillip Securities Pte Ltd announced amendments to the Terms and Conditions and the Form of Master for its Singapore Depository Receipts (SDRs) covering securities from Thailand, Hong Kong and Indonesia, according to a filing dated Aug, 12 2026.

The revised Terms and Conditions will allow the depository to adjust SDR ratios, sub-divide or consolidate SDRs in line with corporate actions such as share splits or consolidations, ensuring each SDR continues to represent a whole number of underlying securities.

The Form of Master will also be updated to remove the existing schedule; future changes in SDR holdings will instead be communicated to holders through channels they request.

Phillip Securities said the changes will not affect any beneficial owner’s entitlement to, or right to withdraw, the deposited property.

The amendments are scheduled to take effect on Sep, 14 2026.
