According to the latest findings from the TrendForce 2026 Monthly Panel Price Forecast Report, the August 2026 panel market exhibited a bifurcated trend. While prices for television panels experienced a decline, those for monitor and notebook panels remained unchanged from the previous month.
Television Panels
The overall price trajectory for TV panels continued its downward slide in August. The average price for a 65-inch TV panel settled at $173, a $1 month-over-month decrease representing a 0.6% drop, with transaction prices spanning from a low of $166 to a high of $176. Similarly, the 55-inch TV panel averaged $123, down $1 (0.8%) from the prior month, within a range of $116 to $126.
Moving down in size, the 43-inch TV panel saw its average price fall by $1 to $63, marking a 1.6% reduction, with prices fluctuating between $61 and $65. The most significant percentage drop occurred in the 32-inch category, where the average price decreased by $1 to $35.0, a 2.8% decline, with a low of $34.0 and a high of $36.0.
Monitor Panels
In contrast to the TV segment, monitor panel prices held steady during this period. The average price for a 27-inch IPS panel was recorded at $63.6, with the lowest and highest prices being $58.0 and $66.4, respectively. Meanwhile, the 23.8-inch IPS panel averaged $51.0, with a price interval stretching from a minimum of $47.9 to a maximum of $52.7.
Notebook Panels
Notebook panel prices have maintained a consistent equilibrium since February 2026. The average price for a 17.3-inch TN panel was $37.6, with this period's minimum at $37.0 and maximum at $38.9. The 15.6-inch Value IPS panel averaged $39.6, ranging from $37.9 to $41.0. Additionally, the 14.0-inch TN panel posted an average of $26.7, with a low of $26.2 and a high of $27.9. Finally, the 11.6-inch TN panel averaged $24.9, with prices observed between $24.0 and $26.3.
