In recent years, Xingfu Town has focused on integrating the low-altitude economy with the development of specialty agriculture, steadily advancing practical drone skills training.

In 2026, Xingfu Town held a total of 6 vocational skills training sessions reaching 322 participants, including 3 sessions on practical drone technology attended by 180 people.

A group of "new farmers" equipped with flight control skills has become a vital force driving the improvement of quality and efficiency in the local macadamia industry.

The effectiveness of training is best measured through practice.

Xingfu Town adheres to the principle of "application first, results foremost," with course design emphasizing hands-on orientation and targeted instruction covering scenarios such as mountain transport, plant protection aerial spraying, and orchard management, ensuring that trainees can immediately operate upon completion.

During the macadamia harvest season, qualified trainees applied what they learned in the classroom to production, operating heavy-lift drones to carry out macadamia nut sling transport.

Drones follow preset flight paths through mountain orchards, transferring bags of fresh macadamia nuts from steep forest slopes to collection points at the foot of the mountains, with a single flight capable of carrying dozens of kilograms, greatly improving transport efficiency.

What once required hours of manual carrying along mountain paths can now be completed by drone in just a few minutes.

From classroom learning to on-site operation, from certified training to field work, Xingfu Town's drone training has achieved the transformation of "training as application, certification as employment."

Certified pilots not only manage their own orchards but also provide paid aerial transport services to surrounding farmers, broadening their income channels.

The head of the town's Industrial Development and Technical Service Center stated that the practical application of drone technology has addressed shortcomings in mountain macadamia harvesting and transport, exploring a viable technological path for reducing costs and increasing efficiency in the specialty industry.
