FIN STREET SEC H1 2026 Results: Revenue Rises 10.74% to RMB 1.84 Billion, Net Profit Stable; Brokerage Income Jumps 32.88%

Financial Street Securities Co., Limited (FIN STREET SEC) released its unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2026.

Revenue and Earnings • Operating income reached RMB 1.84 billion, up 10.74% year-on-year. • Profit for the period climbed 13.71% to RMB 238.16 million, while net profit attributable to ordinary shareholders slipped 0.45% to RMB 239.65 million. • Basic and diluted EPS stood at RMB 0.0920 (H1 2025: RMB 0.0924).

Segment Highlights • Brokerage & Wealth Management: Income surged 32.88% to RMB 1.26 billion, driven by higher trading volumes (stock and fund turnover +73.82% to RMB 2.39 trillion) and rising client assets (+7.01% to RMB 250.74 billion). • Investment Banking: Revenue fell 17.36% to RMB 76.59 million amid softer equity and debt underwriting activity. • Proprietary Trading: Income declined 27.30% to RMB 345.43 million, reflecting market volatility; equity strategies remained balanced, while fixed-income performance was supported by flexible duration management. • Investment Management: Revenue edged up 5.10% to RMB 138.82 million, with AUM at RMB 17.71 billion and Xin Hua Fund managing RMB 52.45 billion in public funds.

Balance Sheet and Capital Adequacy • Total assets expanded 11.97% to RMB 48.15 billion; equity attributable to ordinary shareholders improved 1.57% to RMB 8.73 billion. • Net capital rose to RMB 7.88 billion (31 Dec 2025: RMB 6.43 billion); risk coverage ratio stood at 226.39%, well above the 100% regulatory minimum. • Gearing ratio increased to 62.60% (31 Dec 2025: 60.35%).

Cash Flow and Financing • Net cash generated from operating activities was RMB 180.04 million (H1 2025: RMB 389.74 million). • The company raised RMB 0.95 billion via beneficiary certificates and RMB 2.00 billion through two three-year subordinated bonds during the period; total debt instruments outstanding reached RMB 7.14 billion.

Dividend • A cash dividend of RMB 0.15 per 10 shares (total payout: RMB 39.07 million) for FY 2025 was approved on 20 May 2026 and paid on 15 July 2026. No interim dividend was proposed.

Other Developments • Total number of clients grew to 4.27 million; margin financing and securities lending balance increased to RMB 7.40 billion. • The firm operated 7 branch offices and 99 securities branches; one branch was deregistered and seven were relocated. • Capital commitments for property, equipment and IT projects stood at RMB 17.07 million. • Ongoing litigation related to custodian duties for private equity funds led to a compensation provision of RMB 65.69 million as at period-end.

Outlook FIN STREET SEC plans to deepen digital wealth-management capabilities, expand ETF and quantitative-fund services, refine asset-management offerings—particularly in ABS and REITs—and enhance risk management to support high-quality growth in the second half of 2026.
