CapitaLand India Trust reported that all resolutions were duly approved at its Annual General Meeting held on Apr, 21 2026 at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore.
Unitholders voted by poll on three ordinary resolutions:
1. Adoption of the trustee-manager’s statement and audited financial statements for the financial year ended Dec, 31 2025, together with the auditor’s report, received 845.77 million votes in favour (99.93%) and 0.61 million against.
2. Re-appointment of Deloitte & Touche LLP as independent auditor and authorisation for directors to fix its remuneration obtained 844.27 million votes in favour (99.86%) and 1.17 million against.
3. Authority for the trustee-manager to issue units and grant convertible instruments secured 756.96 million votes in favour (89.56%) and 88.28 million against.
The meeting, chaired by Mr Manohar Khiatani, noted a quorum at 10:00 a.m. and concluded at 12:17 p.m. The trustee-manager also addressed questions on currency hedging, debt costs, distributable income sustainability, forward purchase risks, tax treatment of deferred liabilities and capital management strategies.
