Country Garden Demonstrates Financial Discipline with Over 2.8 Billion Yuan in On-Time Payments

The on-time repayment of more than 2.8 billion yuan within six months marks a pivotal breakthrough in COUNTRY GARDEN's efforts to rebuild its financial credibility.

On the afternoon of June 30th, COUNTRY GARDEN successfully met its first interest payment obligation following the effectiveness of its overseas debt restructuring, paying a total of $14.34 million (approximately 97.51 million yuan) in full and on schedule. This represents the company's second cash settlement since the restructuring plan was implemented.

The company's approximately $17.7 billion overseas debt restructuring officially took effect on December 30, 2025. Within the first week of its implementation in January of this year, COUNTRY GARDEN completed an initial cash payment of $398 million (over 2.7 billion yuan).

COUNTRY GARDEN has stated that since the overseas restructuring plan became effective, its core focus has been safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of all creditors. The company is methodically advancing the full process of debt settlement arrangements, using actual cash to honor its restructuring commitments.

Analytical perspectives suggest that the successful completion from the initial cash injection to the first interest payment indicates that COUNTRY GARDEN's debt repayment schedule has entered a phase of stable operation. This not only aids in the ongoing systematic optimization of its debt structure but also signals a potential recovery in its cross-border financing channels. As financial flexibility gradually improves, the company's long-term operations and business development are expected to receive substantive support.

COUNTRY GARDEN is currently at an inflection point in its operational rhythm. Management has designated 2026 as the most critical year for transitioning from "ensuring housing delivery" to "normalized operations," aiming to complete the majority of delivery tasks by mid-year. Subsequently, the focus will shift entirely to repairing the balance sheet and resuming normal business operations. With the delivery of nearly 1.85 million housing units accumulated from 2022 to 2025, the peak period for mandatory cash outflows is receding. By the end of 2025, COUNTRY GARDEN's operating cash flow turned positive for the first time, recording 1.534 billion yuan.
