AIM Vaccine Seeks Dual Listing on Beijing Stock Exchange

AIM VACCINE (06660) announced on March 30 that it has approved the issuance of up to 40 million domestic shares, representing approximately 3.26% of its total issued shares prior to the offering and about 3.16% post-issuance. The company also plans to apply for an A-share listing on the Beijing Stock Exchange. According to relevant regulations, its domestic shares must first be listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations system. If successful, AIM VACCINE would become the first company to transition from the Hong Kong stock market to the Beijing Exchange, setting a precedent for other biopharmaceutical firms listed in Hong Kong. Data shows that vaccine maker CanSino Biologics has seen its A-shares trade at a premium of up to 3.1 times compared to its H-shares. A dual "H+A" listing would not only enhance AIM VACCINE's valuation and trading liquidity in Hong Kong but also significantly boost its brand value and business growth. As China's second-largest and the largest privately-owned fully integrated vaccine company, AIM VACCINE is the only domestic firm with all five validated human vaccine technology platforms, each supporting pipeline candidates in clinical stages. Several key products, including its next-generation serum-free rabies vaccine, are in the final stages of approval. In February, the company’s self-developed serum-free rabies vaccine passed both the National Medical Products Administration’s clinical trial and production site inspections, bringing it closer to market launch and potentially driving substantial earnings growth. By initiating its A-share listing at a pivotal moment before an anticipated earnings surge, AIM VACCINE is likely to attract greater investor interest.
