READBOY (02385) has announced its financial performance for 2025. The company reported revenue of approximately 335 million yuan, representing a decrease of about 27.4% compared to the previous year. The net loss was approximately 119 million yuan, which widened by about 97.96% year-on-year. The loss per share was 36.6 fen.

The decrease in revenue was primarily attributed to a significant decline in sales of student personal tablets, which have been a major revenue contributor for the group. The change in net loss was mainly due to the combined effect of (i) a decrease in gross profit of approximately 41.1 million yuan, and (ii) a decrease in other income and gains of 15.5 million yuan. This was partially offset by (iii) a reduction in the fair value loss on financial assets measured at fair value through profit and loss of 10.5 million yuan.

During 2025, the group's revenue performance was mainly influenced by factors including changes in student personal tablet sales volume, adjustments to the channel structure, promotional activities in the mainstream price segment, and the execution efficiency of sales points. The monetization of several innovative service projects remains in its early stages.

Throughout the reporting period, the group continued to optimize its online and offline channel structures and sales point models. It also advanced the implementation of capabilities related to "AI + Education" to enhance the user experience and product competitiveness, thereby providing support for medium-to-long-term revenue recovery and an improvement in revenue quality.
