Hong Kong-listed mobile-game developer XD Inc. (HKEX: 02400) disclosed in its Next Day Disclosure Return that it bought back 185,000 ordinary shares on-market on 12 August 2026 at prices ranging between HK$42.52 and HK$43.66, for a total consideration of HK$7.94 million.
Including this latest transaction, XD Inc. has repurchased 1,106,800 shares between 31 July and 12 August that are still awaiting cancellation. The volume represents approximately 0.23% of the company’s 483.88 million issued shares as of 11 August 2026. Based on the volume-weighted average prices disclosed for each trading day, the nine-session programme has cost about HK$49.82 million.
Despite the repurchases, XD Inc.’s issued share capital remained unchanged at 483.88 million shares as of 12 August 2026, as the cancelled shares have not yet been deducted from the register.
Under the general mandate approved on 28 May 2026, the company is authorised to buy back up to 48.93 million shares. To date, it has acquired 6.53 million shares, equivalent to 1.34% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date, leaving substantial headroom for further repurchases. Following the latest transaction, a moratorium is in place that restricts any new share issuance or sale of treasury shares until 11 September 2026.
