Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology (XAUAT) recently held a donation ceremony titled "130 Years of Heritage, 70 Years of Sailing" to prepare for its upcoming 130th founding anniversary and 70th anniversary of the school merger. This event aims to unite alumni and social resources to drive the university's high-quality development.

Total donations from this ceremony reached 107 million yuan, comprising contributions from alumni enterprises, social enterprises, university-affiliated businesses, and individual donors. Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology Party Secretary Zhu Xiaowei stated that each donation represents both a profound favor and recognition of the university, as well as an encouragement and spur for its future growth. He noted that over the 70 years since the university's westward relocation and merger, it has rooted itself in the western region, based itself on the industry, served the nation, and looked to the world, contributing significant "XAUAT strength" to national development. This hard-won academic achievement embodies the concerted efforts of "two XAUATs" striving together and reflects the strong support from industry peers and all sectors of society. At this new historical starting point, the university will continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation, precisely integrating talent cultivation, employment practice, and achievement transformation to foster a virtuous cycle of "donation, cooperation, and mutual benefit."

During the ceremony, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology President Zhao Xiangmo accepted the donations on behalf of the university and presented donation certificates to the donors. Huacheng Boyuan Engineering Technology Group Co., Ltd. Chief Economist and alumnus of the Class of 1986, Liu Baozhu, spoke as a representative of the donors.

This event marks the first donation activity for the university's 130th founding and 70th merger anniversary celebrations. A series of additional donation activities from alumni enterprises, local alumni associations, and social sectors will be launched in the coming period.
