Global New Material Announces Two-Phase Price Increases at German Subsidiary Susonity to Protect Margins Amid Rising Costs

Bulletin Express
Jun 09

Global New Material International Holdings Limited has disclosed updated pricing policies for its wholly-owned German subsidiary, Susonity Commercial GmbH, which develops and sells high-performance pigments to automotive, cosmetics, industrial and functional material markets.

Susonity’s new measures are designed to offset higher raw-material, labour, logistics, tariff and duty costs while preserving service reliability and product quality.

Key details of the pricing actions:

1. First Phase – Implemented gradually during Q1 2026 after customer communication began in November 2025. The initiative targets an average price uplift of about 3% on a weighted basis, with adjustments differing by customer, region and product group.

2. Second Phase – Effective 1 July 2026 for all new quotations and orders, list prices across Susonity’s portfolio will rise by 5%–7%. Updated price lists will be distributed to customers before the effective date.

Scope – The increases cover multiple regions and key product lines, including automotive effect pigments, cosmetic-grade pigments and industrial functional materials.

Ongoing monitoring – Management will continue tracking developments in global raw-material markets, logistics costs, foreign-exchange movements and broader macroeconomic conditions, and intends to take further commercial actions if necessary.

The Board noted that financial implications may vary by customer and market conditions, though existing customer relationships remain stable and the pricing programme aligns with established business plans.
