FIRE ROCK (01909) Issues Profit Warning: FY2025 Loss Expected to Expand to Approximately HK$65.00 Million

Bulletin Express
Mar 16

Fire Rock Holdings Limited (01909) has released a profit warning, projecting a loss attributable to owners of roughly HK$65.00 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2025. This compares with a loss of about HK$17.10 million recorded in 2024, implying a deterioration of HK$47.90 million.

Management attributes the anticipated downturn to three main factors:

1. Provision for impairment losses on intangible assets linked to several games amid performance uncertainty. 2. Amortisation of intangible assets for games that commenced commercial operations in March 2025. 3. Higher staff costs and benefits during the year.

The figures are derived from unaudited consolidated management accounts and have not yet been reviewed by the auditor or confirmed by the audit committee. Final results are scheduled for release around the end of March 2026.

The board advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
