Sichuan Port and Shipping Investment Group Forges Strategic Alliance with CATL

A strategic cooperation agreement was recently signed between Sichuan Port and Shipping Investment Group Co., Ltd. and global new energy leader Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL).

The signing ceremony was held at CATL's Yibin base, with Yang Jun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the provincial port investment group, and Zhu Yunfeng, General Manager of Sichuan Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., in attendance.

Representing their respective organizations, Ruan Changyi, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Sichuan Port and Shipping Investment Group, and Hou Shunlin, Assistant General Manager of Sichuan Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., signed the strategic cooperation pact.

This agreement signifies a commitment to comprehensively deepen collaborative efforts in the fields of green transportation and clean energy.

The partnership will focus on key areas including the development of a zero-carbon road transport system in Sichuan, the construction and application of new energy storage solutions, the electrification of the transportation sector and related infrastructure planning, and emerging sectors such as the low-altitude economy.

The collaboration aims to foster comprehensive and in-depth cooperation across these fronts, jointly charting a new blueprint for a zero-carbon era.
