On August 21, according to the administrative penalty disclosure issued by the Tianjin Regulatory Bureau of the National Financial Regulatory Administration, the Tianjin Branch of CITIC Financial Asset Management Co., Ltd. (formerly the Tianjin Branch of China Huarong Asset Management Co., Ltd.) has been penalized with a fine of 1.35 million yuan. The penalty stems from multiple regulatory breaches, including the improper acquisition of non-performing assets from non-financial institutions, failure to downgrade risk classifications in a timely manner as required, and a lack of prudence in the recognition of substantive restructuring transactions, alongside inaccurate measurement of risk-weighted assets.

In addition to the corporate fine, individual penalties have also been imposed. Jiang Chuanbo has received a formal warning, while Li Shuqin has been issued a warning alongside a personal fine of 60,000 yuan for her role in the violations.
