In a move to further standardize the power market order, safeguard a fair and just market environment, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of market entities, the Northwest Energy Regulatory Bureau recently conducted on-site supervision in Shaanxi Province targeting prominent issues affecting power market order.
Building on prior deployment and enterprise self-inspection efforts, the on-site supervision team visited State Grid Shaanxi Electric Power Co., Ltd. and Shaanxi Power Exchange Center Co., Ltd. Through document reviews, on-site inspections, and discussion sessions, the team conducted an in-depth examination focused on three key areas: market construction and rule enforcement, market fair competition, and standardized market operations.
Looking ahead, the Northwest Energy Regulatory Bureau will promptly summarize and consolidate the inspection findings, handle identified issues in accordance with laws and regulations, and urge relevant entities to implement immediate rectifications and learn from these cases to prevent recurrence. This aims to further improve market mechanisms, regulate market order, and promote the healthy and orderly development of Shaanxi's power market.
