REPT BATTERO’s 2025 ESG Report Logs 39.5% Drop in Carbon Intensity and 21% Renewable Energy Share

REPT BATTERO has released its 2025 Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Report, detailing operational, environmental and social achievements across its six mainland manufacturing bases and overseas operations.

Key environmental metrics • Total greenhouse-gas emissions reached 4.76 million tCO₂e; carbon-emission intensity fell 39.53% year on year to 8,041.86 tCO₂e per GWh. • Total energy consumption was 2.05 million MWh, of which 437,307 MWh (21.32%) came from renewable sources—primarily 29,444 MWh of onsite solar generation and 407,863 MWh of purchased green power. • Water-use intensity declined 42.71% to 36,263 t/GWh; 301,000 t of water was recycled. • Hazardous-waste intensity dropped 22.31% to 10.27 t/GWh, while general solid-waste intensity fell 58.14% to 508.04 t/GWh. • All sites hold ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications; no environmental penalties or significant fire incidents were recorded in 2025.

Operational highlights • Annual revenue totalled RMB 24.33 billion, supported by 90 GWh of installed battery capacity. • The company ranked 5th globally in energy-storage cell shipments, 1st in residential energy-storage cells, 2nd in battery installations for new-energy heavy-duty trucks in China and 7th nationwide in lithium-iron-phosphate power-battery installations. • R&D spending reached RMB 766.75 million—3.20% of revenue—with 1,294 R&D staff. Cumulative patent filings rose to 4,597, with 3,419 granted. • A new 392 Ah cell, a 6.25 MWh liquid-cooled storage system and a stamping-steel CTP power-pack solution were among the year’s flagship product launches.

Workforce and safety • Total employees: 12,685 (26% women; 14.9% ethnic minorities). • Lost-time injury frequency rate: 1.19; total recordable incident rate: 0.28; zero fatalities. • Performance-review coverage reached 97.56%; training coverage hit 100%, averaging 15.62 hours per employee. • Labour-right safeguards include 100% labour-contract coverage, prohibition of child and forced labour, and support for female workers through maternity, parental and breastfeeding leave.

Governance and supply chain • An ESG committee under the board oversees sustainability strategy; all four mainland production bases are certified to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001. • All 555 tier-one suppliers are China-based and have signed responsible-sourcing and anti-corruption agreements; 100% comply with the company’s ESG requirements. • Mineral-supply-chain due-diligence covers 12 critical materials and aligns with OECD and EU battery-regulation guidelines.

Community investment • Social-welfare spending totalled RMB 1.46 million, including targeted educational donations and employee hardship assistance. Book-donation drives in Wenzhou and Liuzhou collected more than 1,100 books, while volunteer programmes supported local schools and blood-donation campaigns.

Outlook The company plans to publish a decarbonisation road map, expand renewable-power adoption, and deepen supplier-carbon-footprint collaboration in 2026, while advancing global talent development and launching a comprehensive data-driven ESG platform.
