Li Auto Inc. (Li Auto) disclosed that on 2 July 2026 it bought back 1,183,822 Class A ordinary shares, equivalent to 0.07 % of its outstanding share count before the transaction. The repurchase, executed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market, was completed at prices ranging from USD 5.96 to USD 6.19, for a volume-weighted average of USD 6.06 per share and a total consideration of USD 7.17 million.
Following the transaction, the company’s issued shares excluding treasury shares fell to 1,741,438,943, while treasury shares increased to 66,984,726. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 1,808,423,669.
The buyback forms part of the mandate approved on 29 May 2026, which authorises the repurchase of up to 214.28 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 47.39 million shares, representing 2.21 % of the issued share count at the time the mandate was granted, leaving 166.89 million shares still available for repurchase.
Under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Li Auto is restricted from issuing new shares or transferring treasury shares until 1 August 2026 following the latest repurchase.
