Hohhot is implementing measures to support the development of the China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone Hohhot Area and to address specific challenges faced by companies regarding international intellectual property rights.

The Hohhot Intellectual Property Protection Center recently collaborated with the Toketo County Market Supervision Administration and the Inner Mongolia E-commerce Promotion Association to conduct targeted enterprise support services. These services aim to resolve intellectual property issues that businesses encounter when expanding into global markets, thereby assisting them in their international growth.

During the event, staff delivered presentations on various critical topics. These included strategies for overseas patent and trademark portfolio management, analysis of typical cross-border intellectual property dispute cases, risk prevention and control in international trade, and the intellectual property facilitation policies specific to the Hohhot Area of the pilot free trade zone. Interactive Q&A sessions with attending companies were held to guide businesses in leveraging available policy benefits and to enhance their overall capabilities in preventing overseas risks and handling disputes.

Moving forward, the Hohhot Intellectual Property Protection Center plans to utilize the Hohhot Overseas Intellectual Property Dispute Response Guidance Platform to institutionalize a full range of services. These services will include the systematic collection of overseas information, ongoing policy briefings, and professional consultations. The goal is to continuously build a robust intellectual property protection framework for local companies venturing abroad.
