Fortinet (FTNT) shares surged 10.68% over the past 24 hours, driven by a post-market rally after the cybersecurity firm reported second-quarter results that handily exceeded Wall Street expectations and raised its full-year outlook.

The company posted adjusted earnings of $0.90 per share on revenue of $2.05 billion, blowing past analyst estimates of $0.75 per share and $1.89 billion. Product revenue jumped 52% year-over-year to $773 million, fueled by strong demand for its FortiGate firewall appliances and unified SASE solutions. Billings also grew 33% to $2.37 billion.

Looking ahead, Fortinet lifted its full-year revenue forecast to a range of $8.02 billion to $8.18 billion, up from a prior view of $7.71 billion to $7.87 billion, and raised its adjusted EPS guidance to $3.41-$3.47. The upbeat guidance reflects robust enterprise spending on cybersecurity amid rising ransomware and AI-driven threats, as well as momentum from recent strategic partnerships with Intel, Anthropic, OpenAI, and NVIDIA.
