Boticelli Foods has announced a voluntary recall of one batch of pistachio butter sold under the Wal-Mart Bettergoods brand due to potential salmonella contamination.

The product was imported by Boticelli, which is based in Melville, New York, and manufactured by Gustibus Alimentari Srl of Asolo, Italy. The company stated that no illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall.

The product is packaged in 6.7-ounce glass jars with UPC code 194346207961, lot number LB028ACP04, and a best-by date of January 28, 2027.
