Huabao International repurchases 3.82 million shares for HKD 13.98 million; 0.12% of share capital bought back since late May

Huabao International Holdings Limited reported a further on-market share buyback on 15 June 2026, acquiring 276,000 ordinary shares at prices between HKD 3.57 and HKD 3.64 per share. The transaction cost HKD 0.99 million and all repurchased shares are earmarked for cancellation.

Including the latest purchase, the company has bought back 3.82 million shares between 22 May and 15 June 2026 under the current mandate. The aggregate consideration for these repurchases stands at approximately HKD 13.98 million, implying a volume-weighted average price of HKD 3.66 per share. The cumulative volume represents 0.12% of the issued share capital as of the mandate date (11 May 2026).

Huabao International’s share repurchase mandate authorises the company to buy back up to 322.84 million shares. After the recent transactions, 319.03 million shares—about 98.88% of the original limit—remain available for further repurchases.

The company’s issued share capital was unchanged at 3.23 billion shares as of 15 June 2026 because the repurchased shares had not yet been cancelled. No treasury shares were held, and no new shares were issued during the reporting period.

Under Hong Kong Listing Rule 10.06(3)(a), Huabao International is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares for 30 days following the 15 June repurchase, extending to 15 July 2026.
