Global AI-driven drug discovery is increasingly moving into the commercialization phase, with US-listed Twist Bioscience reporting mid-year results that beat expectations and AI-related orders doubling year-over-year. GENSCRIPT BIO’s life sciences division, which covers DNA synthesis, protein production, antibody development, and functional validation, is positioned as a key infrastructure provider for converting AI-generated sequences into physical proteins and experimental data. The division recorded revenue of USD 522 million, up 14.8% year-over-year, reinforcing its role in the AI drug discovery ecosystem.
Additionally, GENSCRIPT BIO’s associate Legend Biotech reported strong CARVYKTI sales, with Q2 net trade sales of USD 657 million, a 49.4% year-over-year increase, and first-half sales reaching USD 1.254 billion, up 55.1%. The company is also set to hold a board meeting on August 15 to review interim results and dividend arrangements, further boosting market expectations.
