Nanofilm Technologies to Merge Board Committees and Update Directorships

Nanofilm Technologies International Limited announced on Apr, 22 2026 that it will combine its Nominating Committee and Remuneration Committee into a single Nominating and Remuneration Committee (NRC) with effect from May, 1 2026.

The Board said the merger will streamline oversight of director appointments, succession planning and remuneration matters, eliminating duplicate meetings while maintaining the existing scope of responsibilities.

In conjunction with the change, independent director Wan Kum Tho will chair the new NRC and continue to sit on the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC). Lead independent director Ong Siew Koon and independent director Lee Lee Khoon will join the NRC while retaining their current ARC roles.

Separately, Tan Swee Ho will be appointed as a non-executive independent director and member of the ARC from May, 1 2026.

Following these adjustments, the Board will comprise Chairman Dr Shi Xu and members Ong Siew Koon, Wan Kum Tho, Lee Lee Khoon and Tan Swee Ho. The ARC will be chaired by Ong Siew Koon with members Wan Kum Tho, Lee Lee Khoon and Tan Swee Ho, while the NRC will be chaired by Wan Kum Tho with members Ong Siew Koon and Lee Lee Khoon.
