ContiOcean Environment Tech Group Co., Ltd. (ContiOcean) confirmed the completion of its discloseable transaction for the acquisition of the vessel “OM Singapore” on 29 July 2026. The consideration has been fully settled with the seller in accordance with the OM Singapore Memorandum of Agreement, following the earlier acquisition of “OM Shanghai” on 16 April 2026.
The closing of the second vessel marks a key milestone in ContiOcean’s long-term green shipping roadmap. Management stated that the expanded fleet strengthens the company’s transition from a marine environmental-protection equipment developer to a ship-owning operator with self-managed assets.
With two vessels now in operation, ContiOcean plans to scale its closed-loop business model—“in-house R&D → actual vessel deployment → dynamic verification → commercial feedback.” The dual-vessel platform is intended to deliver verified shipping emission-reduction solutions that balance technical reliability with economic feasibility for the global market.
The Board reiterated its commitment to prudent operations, cost control, and synergy across fleet management to safeguard shareholder interests while aligning the new assets with medium- to long-term objectives.
Board composition remains unchanged, led by Chairman and Executive Director Zhou Yang, alongside three other executive directors and three independent non-executive directors.
