WeRide Executes Additional Share Buyback on Nasdaq; Treasury Shares Rise to 22.54 Million

WeRide Inc. disclosed a further repurchase of 270,000 Class A weighted voting right (WVR) ordinary shares on 30 April 2026 via the Nasdaq Stock Market. The shares were bought at prices ranging between USD 2.49 and USD 2.50, with a volume-weighted average cost of USD 2.50 per share. The transaction involved an aggregate outlay of USD 0.67 million.

Following the buyback, the number of issued shares excluding treasury shares decreased by 0.0284 % to 949.97 million. Treasury shares rose to 22.54 million, while the company’s total issued share capital remained unchanged at 972.51 million shares.

The purchase was made under the board-approved repurchase mandate granted on 13 March 2026, which authorises the buyback of up to 102.73 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 22.54 million shares, or 2.19 % of the share count outstanding on the mandate date.

In accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, WeRide is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 30 May 2026.
