ETF Surge: Leveraged Nvidia Product Jumps Over 7% as Management Signals Growth Ceiling Higher

The Southern Nifty 2x Leveraged ETF (07788) climbed more than 8% during intraday trading before paring gains, with shares last up 7.62% at HK$178.65 on turnover of HK$1.99 million.

According to the latest JPMorgan research, Nvidia's management indicated at an investor conference that the FY28 year-over-year growth framework of 70% does not represent the upper bound of demand. If not constrained by supply limitations, the business could have grown at a pace exceeding 100%.

This implies the primary bottleneck hampering Nvidia's expansion has shifted from concerns about demand sustainability to the question of whether production capacity can keep pace. Management further explained that the decision to provide a multi-year outlook was partly driven by a "meaningful gap" between market consensus and the company's internal observations. Without proactive disclosure, this information asymmetry could lead to misalignment in capacity planning among supply chain partners, which would in turn constrain Nvidia's own delivery capabilities.

In essence, this forward guidance serves both as a signal to investors and as deliberate management of the broader supply chain ecosystem.
