BHG Retail REIT announced on Apr, 22 2026 that it has published its responses to substantial and relevant questions submitted by unitholders in advance of its FY2025 annual general meeting.

The AGM is scheduled for Apr, 28 2026 at 10:30 a.m. (Singapore Time) at Raffles City Convention Centre, Level 4, Minto Room, 80 Bras Basah Road, Singapore.

Key points from the manager’s responses include:

• Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East are not expected to cause material disruption to the REIT’s China-focused portfolio, though the manager will continue to monitor indirect effects such as energy costs and consumer sentiment.

• To support rental performance in a cautious consumer environment, the REIT is actively managing occupancy, adjusting rental rates where necessary and refining tenant mix to include digital-first retailers and experiential offerings.

• Sustainability measures at the property level feature LED lighting, energy-efficient escalators, smart air-conditioning controls and water-saving fixtures, aimed at reducing utility costs and improving long-term asset value.

• A syndication loan rollover completed in Mar, 2025 has extended debt maturities and diversified funding sources. The manager will continue to balance fixed and floating rate borrowings, explore onshore and offshore funding options and perform scenario analyses to manage interest-rate and revenue risks.

• The REIT maintains that it is not dependent on a single financing source and continues to receive support from its banking partners while pursuing asset recycling and selective acquisitions to enhance portfolio quality.
