Info-Tech's stock price fell 3.40% during intraday trading on Tuesday following news of a major share sale by its executive chairman.

The decline came after the company announced that Executive Chairman Lim Kim Heng Peter sold 24,338,800 ordinary shares through a block trade arranged by Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited. The placement was made to long-only institutional investors as part of an effort to diversify and broaden the company's minority shareholder base.

While the company stated the transaction was intended to improve trading liquidity and free float, such significant insider selling often creates downward pressure on stock prices as investors may interpret it as reduced confidence from key executives.
