Prudential plc to List 5.72 Million New Shares on London Stock Exchange

On May, 12 2026, Prudential plc (PRU) said it has applied for the admission of 5,721,904 new ordinary shares of 5 pence each to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.

The shares are expected to begin trading on May, 13 2026 and will rank pari passu with the company’s existing ordinary shares.

Prudential stated that the issuance relates to the scrip dividend alternative for its 2025 second interim dividend. Of the total, 345,912 shares will facilitate a share-dealing service for United Kingdom shareholders who cannot provide a Hong Kong address or a qualifying Hong Kong brokerage account.

Prudential provides life and health insurance and asset-management services across Greater China, ASEAN, India and Africa, and is primarily listed on stock exchanges in London and Hong Kong, with secondary listings in Singapore and New York.
