Mapletree Industrial Trust Management to Appoint Anand Chandran as CEO on Oct, 1 2026

Mapletree Industrial Trust Management Ltd., the manager of Mapletree Industrial Trust, announced on Aug, 21 2026 that Anand Tze Ming Chandran will be appointed Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director with effect from Oct, 1 2026, subject to regulatory approval.

Chandran is currently Head, Data Centre (Asia Pacific) at Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd, a position he has held since Feb, 2026, and has more than 16 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, business development and digital infrastructure.

He will replace Ler Lily, who will leave her roles as CEO and Executive Director on Oct, 1 2026 to become Group Chief Financial Officer of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd.

Before joining the sponsor, Chandran was Chief Financial Officer of K2 Strategic, the digital infrastructure platform of the Kuok Group, where he managed capital and liquidity strategy, corporate governance, financial planning and mergers and acquisitions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master of Science in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford and a Master of Professional Accounting from the Singapore Management University.
