Huai'an City Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Gu Kun recently led a delegation to Huai'an District to investigate and promote the high-quality development of express logistics services supporting e-commerce.

During the visit, Mayor Gu Kun inspected the Shentong Express Huai'an branch and engaged in in-depth discussions with the company's management. He encouraged the enterprise to continue its deep roots in Huai'an, focus on niche segments, and further extend its operations along the supply chain to expand its scale and enhance overall efficiency.

He emphasized the need to thoroughly integrate cross-border e-commerce with unique local industries, supporting businesses in establishing overseas warehouses to achieve precise alignment between supply and demand. This approach will more effectively facilitate the "Export of Huai'an Products."

Efforts must be concentrated on reducing comprehensive logistics costs by vigorously developing multimodal transport. This will elevate the efficiency of cargo flow and cost reduction at a higher level.
