Shares of Ramelius Resources Ltd plummeted 5.12% during intraday trading on Thursday, following analyst commentary pointing to potential financial headwinds for the gold miner.
The sharp decline comes after Shaw & Partners indicated that the company may downgrade its guidance for FY 2026 all-in sustaining costs (AISC) when it reports its third-quarter performance later this month. The preliminary update showed gold output of 38,100 ounces, representing another sequential drop, which suggests unit costs could be higher than in previous quarters. The company is also facing pressure from rising diesel costs, leading the analyst firm to cut its FY26 production forecast and increase its AISC forecast.
