Zhejiang Expressway Co., Ltd. announced that Non-Executive Director Huang Jianzhang will resign from the board, the audit committee and the remuneration committee due to work adjustments. His resignation will take effect upon shareholder approval of a new director at the 2025 Annual Shareholders’ Meeting.
Concurrently, the board has nominated Wang Qiming—currently General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of the company—for election as an Executive Director. Subject to shareholder approval at the same meeting, Wang’s term would run from the approval date until 30 June 2027, coinciding with the end of the board’s tenth session. His remuneration will follow the pay scale disclosed in the circular dated 13 June 2024.
Wang, born in 1973, is a senior engineer and senior economist with extensive managerial experience within Zhejiang Communications Investment Group and related subsidiaries. The company confirmed that Wang holds no shares in Zhejiang Expressway, has no relationships with existing directors, senior management or substantial shareholders, and meets all disclosure requirements under Hong Kong Listing Rule 13.51(2)(h)-(v).
