TCL ELECTRONICS (HKEX: 01070) has released a positive profit alert. According to a preliminary review of the Group's unaudited management accounts for the first half of 2026 and information currently available to the Board, the Group expects its revenue for H1 2026 to be between approximately HK$60.3 billion and HK$65.7 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of about 10% to 20%.

The adjusted net profit attributable to shareholders for the first half of 2026 is projected to be in the range of approximately HK$14.8 billion to HK$16.5 billion. Compared with the same period in 2025, this signifies an expected year-on-year growth of about 40% to 56%.

Key Factors Behind the Growth Forecast

The anticipated significant increase in adjusted net profit attributable to shareholders is primarily due to the following factors. Firstly, the Group has further advanced the implementation of its "globalization" and "mid-to-high-end" strategies. This has led to quality growth in its global operations and a notable improvement in gross profit performance.

Secondly, overall profitability has steadily strengthened. Within this, the TV business has maintained its global leading position while continuously improving its product mix. Furthermore, the monetization capability of the high-margin internet business has been further enhanced, and the profitability of the small and medium-sized display business has also seen improvement.
