CN INT DEV CORP (00264) has announced a new purchase contract related to its subsidiary Ganic Synergy Company Limited, which serves as the service provider. This subsidiary is a wholly-owned direct subsidiary of Ganic Success Limited, the company's non-wholly-owned joint venture. The contract was signed with Brightray Veridian PTE. LTD. as the client.

On August 3, 2026, the service company entered into a second purchase agreement with the client for procurement services at a site in Malaysia. These services include: sourcing prefabricated AI data center modules that meet the client's specific requirements for AIDC; arranging standardized modular transportation to a designated port agreed upon by both parties, with the client handling onward delivery to the site; conducting acceptance testing for the modules; and providing installation services at the site. Under this second contract, the service company will charge the client approximately $68 million USD (about HK$535 million).

The combined fees from the first and second purchase contracts total $93 million USD (approximately HK$731 million). The accelerating global adoption of AI and digitalization is driving sustained growth in the smart computing and data center markets. Prefabricated AIDC modules, as key components, are gaining popularity due to their ability to significantly reduce deployment times, leading to continuous demand.

To capitalize on this surge in market demand, the joint venture will continue exploring opportunities to expand its internal capabilities and service scope. This includes incorporating professional AIDC design and engineering services, as well as customized AIDC operations and maintenance services to support long-term client needs. This strategic shift aims to transform the joint venture from a pure procurement provider into a full-lifecycle integrated service partner, enabling it to capture a larger market share and drive sustainable growth.

To support this strategic vision, the joint venture is building its own dedicated team by recruiting personnel with extensive experience in AIDC engineering, procurement, construction services, and operations and maintenance. This ensures the ability to deliver diversified, comprehensive, and high-quality services to clients. The second purchase agreement also reflects the client's confidence in the service company and its desire to establish a long-term partnership.
