NetEase Music (09899) disclosed a share repurchase on 26 March 2026, acquiring 118,050 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The buy-back represents 0.05495% of the company’s 214.82 million issued shares (excluding treasury shares) outstanding as at 25 March 2026.
The shares were repurchased at prices ranging between HKD 125.90 and HKD 129.60, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 127.02 per share. Total consideration reached HKD 14.99 million.
Post-transaction, issued shares outstanding decreased to 214.71 million, while treasury shares rose to 3.21 million. The total share count remains unchanged at 217.91 million, as the repurchased shares are held in treasury and have not been cancelled.
The repurchase forms part of the mandate approved on 25 June 2025, which authorises the company to buy back up to 21.74 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 2.87 million shares, equal to 1.32% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, NetEase Music is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share disposals until 25 April 2026.
