The official account of the donation examination center for Beijing Yanran Angel Children's Hospital released a certificate of appreciation issued to Chen Guangbiao, thanking him for his strong support of the hospital. That same day, a relevant staff member from the hospital confirmed that the certificate of appreciation was indeed issued by Beijing Yanran Angel Children's Hospital, adding that the hospital's founder, Li Yapeng, would provide a statement at a later time.
Previously, prominent figure Chen Guangbiao announced that he would convert a Rolls-Royce, originally intended as a gift to Zhang Xue, into cash and donate 10 million yuan to Beijing Yanran Angel Children's Hospital. On April 5, Chen Guangbiao posted on his personal social media account that he had already liquidated the Rolls-Royce vehicle initially planned for Zhang Xue and had donated 10 million yuan to the hospital for its construction. He also shared proof of the multi-million yuan donation transfer.
On the morning of April 7, contact was made with Beijing Yanran Angel Children's Hospital. A staff member stated that, after consulting the hospital's finance department, according to regulations, if someone wishes to inquire whether a donation has been received, the donor must provide valid identification and other relevant information. "Inquiries are possible, but they must be made by the donor themselves. For larger amounts, presenting valid identification and the donation reference number is required; issuing invoices and certificates is not a problem."
Subsequently, the official account for the "Beijing Yanran Hospital Donation Examination Center" published the certificate of appreciation issued to Chen Guangbiao, thanking him for his strong support. A staff member from Beijing Yanran Angel Children's Hospital confirmed that the certificate was indeed issued by the hospital. When asked if the "strong support" mentioned in the appreciation letter referred to the 10 million yuan donation from Chen Guangbiao, the staff member indicated that hospital founder Li Yapeng would provide clarification subsequently. "We have received many calls today regarding this matter," the staff member added.
It was reported that on April 1, Chen Guangbiao posted a video on social media announcing that, to commend Zhang Xue for winning the World Superbike Championship (WSBK) and breaking the monopoly of foreign brands, he would gift Zhang Xue, the founder, a 2026 extended Rolls-Royce Phantom with an estimated market value of approximately 13 million yuan. On April 2, Zhang Xue responded that he would accept the vehicle but planned to resell it at a 20% discount, donating all proceeds to the Yanran Angel Fund, while he himself would continue to use a van. Chen Guangbiao initially stated that this action "misunderstood my original intention" but soon changed his stance to express support. On April 5, Chen Guangbiao posted that, given Zhang Xue's delay in taking possession of the vehicle, he respected Zhang Xue's wishes, had liquidated the vehicle, and donated 10 million yuan to Yanran Hospital.
