Fosun Pharma Subsidiary Enters Collaboration Framework and License Agreement

Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. (600196.SH) announced that on August 16, 2026, its controlling subsidiary, Henlius, entered into a Collaboration Framework Agreement with Sandoz AG.

Under the agreement, Henlius may collaborate with Sandoz AG on the registration, commercialization, development, and manufacturing of up to 10 monoclonal antibody (mAb) and/or antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) biosimilar products or components (the "Collaboration Products") in relevant overseas regions. Specific commercial terms have been finalized for the first three Collaboration Products: HLX05-N, HLX16, and a belimumab biosimilar. Additionally, Henlius has granted Sandoz AG an option for one potential Collaboration Product, HLXTE-HAase1001.

For the initial three Collaboration Products, Henlius is eligible to receive total payments of up to $314 million, comprising upfront payments, development milestones, and development budget milestones, as well as sales milestone payments. The collaboration aims to leverage the respective strengths and resources of both parties in research, development, manufacturing, and commercialization to enhance the accessibility and influence of the Group's products in the international market, ultimately providing more treatment options for patients worldwide.
