WuXi Biologics (Cayman) Inc. (WuXi Bio) disclosed in its Next Day Disclosure Return that it repurchased 1.51 million ordinary shares on 29 May 2026 via on-market transactions at prices ranging from HKD 32.00 to HKD 33.82, spending a total of HKD 49.90 million.
Including this latest transaction, WuXi Bio has repurchased 4.51 million shares between 27–29 May 2026 at volume-weighted average prices of HKD 33.92, HKD 32.51 and HKD 33.10, respectively. These shares represent approximately 0.11 % of the company’s outstanding 4.14 billion shares and remain to be cancelled.
Under the repurchase mandate approved on 6 June 2025, WuXi Bio is authorised to buy back up to 406.87 million shares. Cumulative repurchases now stand at 27.69 million shares, equivalent to 0.68 % of the share capital in issue on the mandate date, leaving authority to repurchase up to roughly 379.17 million additional shares.
Following the 29 May transactions, the company’s issued share capital remains unchanged at 4.14 billion shares pending cancellation of the bought-back stock. In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, WuXi Bio is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until 28 June 2026.
