The "Yue Neng Xue - AI Training Into Every Household" initiative, hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, was officially launched on August 15. With the core theme of "AI Empowers, Skills Create the Future," the program runs from August 2026 to January 2027, targeting "thousands of courses, thousands of events, and over one million participants." The goal is to move cutting-edge digital skills beyond the industrial sector and into homes across the province.
On launch day, the "AI Cloud Academy" exclusive section on the "Yue Neng Xue" platform went online, opening over 1,000 high-quality AI courses to the public. Updates were synchronized across multiple city-level platforms. The courses integrate top-tier resources from the human resources department, enterprises, and educational institutions, covering the full spectrum from basic introduction and core technologies to workplace applications. This creates a convenient, efficient, and resource-rich lifelong learning hub online, balancing individual skill upgrades with customized corporate talent development. The public can access the platform via multiple entry points to select courses, study independently, and continuously improve, achieving lifelong learning and skill enhancement.
Unlike traditional classroom-based teaching, this initiative uses four key actions to build a comprehensive, multi-level, and accessible AI training system. The "AI Cloud Academy" serves as a dedicated online hub on the "Yue Neng Xue" lifelong learning platform, linking resources across the Pearl River Delta region and gathering a vast library of practical AI courses for round-the-clock online access. Across the province, training bases, technical colleges, and community skill stations are being mobilized to create a widespread "AI training network." Through lightweight formats like evening skill schools, enterprise on-site training, and community micro-courses, training services are delivered directly to the public and frontline workers.
Based on actual industry needs, the program establishes "AI Training Workshops" that develop customized "AI + Job" courses aligned with workplace scenarios. This fully bridges the gap between learning, practice, and application, allowing acquired skills to be directly used in work environments. Courses are tailored to the different growth needs of industrial workers, job seekers, and startup entrepreneurs, ensuring targeted and precise skills development.
At the launch ceremony, human resources departments from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Jiangmen shared their local training strategies, while leading enterprises and industry associations discussed practical experiences in using AI for industrial upgrades and talent development. Currently, the first batch of 200 offline AI training events across the province is fully underway, establishing a complete learning pathway from "interest and introduction," to "workplace advancement," and "certification and improvement."
The event also includes free public lecture series and AI interactive experience exhibitions. Experts break down AI applications in everyday life and work in an accessible way, while major tech companies showcase cutting-edge AI cultural products and office tools, allowing ordinary citizens to experience the appeal of digital technology firsthand.
