Insta360 has developed a fully operational "acquisition-processing-application" workflow for its panoramic imaging solutions in the B2B sector, according to a company representative. The technology is transitioning from a standalone tool to a foundational component of spatial digitization infrastructure.

Currently, panoramic imaging is deployed across various industries, including media and documentary production, education, real estate, cultural tourism, industrial manufacturing, and security and emergency response. The company highlighted that the X6 model's maturity in 3D time-capsule spatial reconstruction capabilities will generate new B2B solutions, such as upgrading from "VR property tours" to "measurable digital spaces" in real estate, and from "panoramic virtual tours" to "interactive 3D showrooms" in cultural tourism.

The spatial perception abilities of panoramic cameras naturally align with the environmental understanding requirements of humanoid robots. Insta360 is currently in advanced collaboration with multiple embodied AI companies. Liu Jingkang, founder of Insta360, previously noted that the training of embodied models involves many competing approaches, with no industry consensus yet formed. More information gathering and judgment are needed, and the company is deepening its understanding of the industry through client service, drawing parallels to its early exploration of the action camera market.
