UOB-KAY HIAN HOLDINGS LIMITED clears all motions at Apr, 29 2026 AGM

UOB-KAY HIAN HOLDINGS LIMITED held its annual general meeting on Apr, 29 2026, during which shareholders approved every resolution tabled by the board.

The meeting adopted the Directors’ Statement and audited financial statements for the year ended Dec, 31 2025, with 99.99% of votes in favour.

Investors backed a first and final one-tier tax-exempt dividend of 12.3 cents per share, supported by 99.99% approval. Directors’ fees totalling about 0.45 million Singapore dollars for FY2025 were also endorsed with near-unanimous support.

Re-elections were confirmed for directors Tang Wee Loke (97.67% approval), Tay Wee Jin Michael (99.94%), Hui Yat Yan, Henry (99.94%), and Chan Lay Hoon (98.53%).

Messrs. Deloitte & Touche LLP were re-appointed as external auditors with 99.99% support.

Under special business, shareholders authorised the board to issue new shares and convertible securities (96.62% approval), to allot shares under the company’s Scrip Dividend Scheme (98.84%), and to renew the share buyback mandate (99.99%).

Management addressed questions on succession planning, dividend policy, market competition, foreign-exchange translation effects, regulatory compliance, office relocation cost efficiencies, and strategies for Hong Kong growth.

The meeting concluded at 6:15 p.m. with Chairman Wee Ee Chao thanking shareholders for their continued support.
