Reports indicate that Japan's budget requests for the upcoming fiscal year are set to surpass 130 trillion yen for the first time, marking a fourth consecutive year of record-high submissions.
Japanese government ministries are required to submit their budget requests by the end of this month, after which the annual budget negotiations will commence. The government typically compiles the draft budget in December.
