Ouster Inc.'s stock experienced a significant pre-market surge of 5.51% on Tuesday.
The sharp increase follows the company's announcement that it is expanding its collaboration with Nvidia by integrating its Rev8 OS digital lidar sensors across the NVIDIA Jetson platform. This move deepens Ouster's ties to the NVIDIA robotics ecosystem.
The integration adds dedicated JetPack plugins, including Isaac ROS support, to feed point-cloud data into NVIDIA's hardware-accelerated perception pipelines. It also extends to NVIDIA Isaac Sim support for sensor modeling, aiding synthetic-data generation for training and validation. Drivers have been tuned for specific Jetson modules to support low-latency edge computing workloads.
