Huron Consulting's stock plummeted 5.03% during intraday trading on Wednesday, following the company's release of its fourth-quarter financial results and full-year outlook.

While the company reported adjusted earnings of $2.17 per share for Q4, surpassing analyst expectations of $1.95, its revenue of $432.3 million fell short of the anticipated $433.6 million. The mixed results, coupled with the company's 2026 guidance, appear to have disappointed investors.

The consulting firm projected 2026 adjusted earnings per share in the range of $8.35 to $9.15 on revenue between $1.78 billion and $1.86 billion. This outlook, which aligns with but does not significantly exceed analyst forecasts of $8.74 per share and $1.82 billion in revenue, likely contributed to the negative market reaction and the stock's sharp decline.
