DEKON AGR (02419) disclosed its annual financial results for the period ending December 31, 2025. The group reported revenue of RMB 231.59 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 3.09%. Net profit was RMB 14.22 billion, a decrease of 56.51% compared to the previous year. Earnings per share stood at RMB 3.69.
Throughout 2025, supported by its four foundational pillars of systems, organization, talent, and culture, the group achieved steady operational performance despite industry cyclical fluctuations and intensified market competition in the livestock and poultry farming sector. This was accomplished through enhanced lean management, breakthroughs in independent breeding, upgraded disease control and purification management, and coordinated development of light-asset operations. The hog segment demonstrated industry-leading performance in scale, cost efficiency, profitability, and cash flow. Significant results were also achieved in empowering farmers and increasing agricultural incomes. The poultry segment showed a rebound from its low point with a positive trend, while the slaughtering and food processing segment expanded steadily and increased in value. The group's overall risk resilience and sustainable development capabilities were further strengthened, laying a solid foundation for continued high-quality growth and consistently contributing to deeper farmer integration and rural revitalization.
During the reporting period, the hog segment remained the group's primary source of revenue and profit, accounting for 81.2% of total revenue and serving as the core engine for performance growth. Annual revenue from the hog segment was RMB 188.07 billion, up 2.9% year-on-year. The annual sales volume of hogs reached 10,827.98 thousand heads, an increase of 23.3% compared to the previous year. However, the average selling price for market hogs was RMB 13.74 per kilogram, down 17.7% year-on-year, primarily due to persistently low market prices for hogs. Despite this challenging environment, the company managed to achieve significant cost reductions through effective lean management, the translation of breeding achievements, and light-asset operational models. The full cost of hog production continued to optimize during the period, with profit per head and profitability efficiency maintaining industry leadership. Supported by robust cash flow, the company's ability to navigate market cycles was further enhanced.
