On March 30, the groundbreaking ceremony for the first phase of the Smart Xinhua Cultural Industry Park took place at the distribution center of Fujian Xinhua Distribution Group. The project integrates publishing and distribution, smart logistics, and cultural innovation, featuring the construction of standardized logistics warehouses, supporting R&D buildings, and comprehensive office facilities. It aims to establish a modern, intelligent cultural industry park.

According to a tender announcement for the "Engineering Procurement Contract of Smart Xinhua Cultural Industry Park (Phase I)" released on the Fujian Provincial Public Resource Trading Electronic Service Platform in October 2025, the project owner is Fujian Xinhua Distribution Group. Construction funding is sourced from the company's own resources, with an estimated investment of 348 million yuan.

The first phase of the Smart Xinhua Cultural Industry Park is located at No. 59 Fuguang Road, Gushan Town, Jin'an District, Fuzhou City. The project covers a land area of approximately 21,000 square meters, with a total floor area of 65,180 square meters. The planned construction period is 550 calendar days.

Established in May 2004, Fujian Xinhua Distribution Group is a large provincial state-owned cultural enterprise approved by the former General Administration of Press and Publication and the Fujian Provincial Committee and Government. By the end of 2009, it was transferred to become a subsidiary of Straits Publishing and Distribution Group. The company currently employs over 2,800 staff, with total assets reaching 5.63 billion yuan by the end of 2024.
