On August 21, the Hebei Provincial Branch of the People's Bank of China released an administrative penalty information disclosure form (document number: Ji Yin Fa Jue Zi [2026] No. 6), revealing that China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd.'s Shijiazhuang branch has been penalized for non-compliance.

The branch was found to have violated financial statistics management regulations and anti-counterfeit currency business management regulations. As a result, it has received a warning and been ordered to pay a fine of 699,100 yuan.

This enforcement action underscores the central bank's continued scrutiny of commercial banks' adherence to statistical reporting standards and currency authenticity protocols, with penalties reflecting the severity of the identified breaches.
