MoneyMax Financial Services Ltd. said on Jun, 18 2026 that its wholly-owned Malaysian subsidiary, MoneyMax Treasure Sdn. Bhd., has set up a seven-year commercial paper/medium-term note (CP/MTN) programme with a combined limit of up to RM500 million (about 145 million Singapore dollars).
Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad has been appointed as principal adviser, lead arranger, lead manager and facility agent.
The programme is jointly and severally guaranteed by MoneyMax Financial Services Ltd. and its wholly-owned unit, Cash Online Sdn. Bhd., through a corporate guarantee. Malaysian rating agency MARC has assigned inaugural ratings of “AA- (cg)” for the medium-term notes and “MARC-1 (cg)” for the commercial papers.
An initial issuance of up to RM200 million (about 58 million Singapore dollars) has been earmarked as Tranche 1, comprising as much as RM50 million (about 15 million Singapore dollars) in commercial papers and the balance in medium-term notes. The issuer may upsize the overall facility subject to rating and regulatory approvals.
Proceeds will be used to fund the Cash Online Sdn. Bhd. group’s working capital, investments and general corporate purposes in Malaysia, refinance existing borrowings, cover programme-related expenses and maintain required reserve accounts.
The information memorandum for the CP/MTN programme was lodged with Malaysia’s Securities Commission on May, 12 2026. No securities issued under the programme will be offered in Singapore.
