On July 8, a spokesperson for China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs addressed inquiries regarding the recent escalation of military actions in the Middle East.

It was reported that on July 7, local time, the U.S. Central Command stated it had completed a new round of strikes against Iran, hitting over 80 targets. In response to a question on the mutual strikes between the U.S. and Iran, the spokesperson commented on the reignition of conflict in the region.

The spokesperson stated, "We are closely following the latest developments in the Middle East situation. The reignition of hostilities is not in the interest of any party, and military means cannot resolve fundamental issues."

The spokesperson further called on both the United States and Iran to implement the signed memorandum of understanding, resolve disputes through dialogue and negotiation, and refrain from resorting to force.
